In Remembrance of John C. Beresford
On May 10, 2005 our friend and neighbor was maliciously taken from us. I was given the privilege of designing these pieces celebrating his life. He will forever be missed.

Throughout my life art has been the compass that has guided my perception of the world and enabled me to express my creativity. As a young boy, I aspired to become a great comic book illustrator and developed my drawing techniques by imitating the artistic styles of various comic book artists. As an adult, I strove to obtain a career with a creative outlet and enrolled at A.T.I. in Texas. In May of 2000, I graduated Valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA and earned an Associates degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. After graduation, I continued to work in the graphic design industry for four more years.

In an effort to refine my artistic style I returned to college to further enhance my capabilities at Texas State University-San Marcos in 2003. While attending Texas State University I discovered my artistic ADD. I wanted to experiment with different types of media; metal, wood, clay, paint, fiber, and found objects. I needed to discover the limits of my creativeness and artistic abilities, and to find new directions for artistic self-expression. My time at Texas State University allowed me to enrich my mind academically and creatively. I've retained a 4.0 GPA and made the Dean's List for three consecutive semesters. Additionally, I was also one of 60 artists chosen from over 300 entries to participate in the 2004 All Student Juried Exhibition at Texas State University.

I relocated to Boston in early 2005 searching for new experiences, unique inspirations, and more focused instruction.

This web site is a compilation of my graphic design skills and artistic abilities, which I exhibit for those who have an interest and passion for art. In addition, it allows me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities and experience to future employers and academic institutions.

As I finish new projects I will add them to the site, so please be sure to get in touch and let me know what you think of my site!
